Retail Realm Corporate Announcement - Feb 1st 2008
Retail Realm is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Yasser Shenouda as Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect. Yasser has been the Managing Director of Retail Realm in the Middle East and North Africa and has over 20 years experience in the retail market.
Yasser joined Retail Realm in 2003 from Metro Supermarket in Egypt where he had been IT and Operations Manager. At Retail Realm, Yasser successfully recruited many new partners and contributed greatly to the successful signing of major new accounts such as Raya (70+ stores in Mobile phones), i2 (350 Stores with HQ and Axapta), Al Oud (360+ Stores with HQ and Great Plains). Yasser’s success in the territory has had a major contribution to the success of Microsoft Dynamics and revenue to Microsoft that was outside of their expected budget and expectation.
We are pleased to have Yasser taking the mantle of CEO and now look at duplicating his success in the total territory where Retail Realm is active. Afshin Alikhani is stepping down from his position of CEO and is moving to a new role as Chairman overseeing the Retail Realm ISV activities and relationships with vendors and resellers in North America.
