Multi Location module expands the RMS Store Database to manage multiple stock and sales location.  This opens up the possibilities for a large RMS database to be used to manage:

• where a large store may have various locations where stock is kept and sold from
• a Warehouse environment, Furniture stores.
• where multiple stores are in a logical networkable area (theme park, sport stadium, airport etc).

The module permits each location to have its own cost and price.  To simplify the pricing structure a formula function has been provided to do changes to all the items in a location.

Each location can have its own Bin Location, Picking and packing order.  These will be used for printing various transfer outs and transfer ins in a picking and packing sequence.

The Stock Allocation Screen is an easy utility for stock to be assigned from main stock to different locations.  The total of all locations and the unallocated total add up to the store’s total inventory position.  Allocating stock generates automatic Location Stock Transfer in and out orders.

Upon tendering, if any of the items are not available at the location but available at another location a request for transfer will be automatically generated.  The user can select a transfer to selling location or a transfer to customer.  The latter opens the possibilities for such retailers as “Furniture Stores” to use multi location for their stock control where sales are done from a show room whilst the stock is sent to a warehouse.
