This program was developed to work in conjunction with “Microsoft Retail Management System” (MRMS V.1 or QuickSell Commerce version 1.07d and higher). This module allows the user to define unrelated promotion that can be both amount and % related. The promotions types can be “One to One Promotion” (Buy this get that), “Many to One Promotion” (Buy this and this, or this and this and get that), “One to Many Promotion (Buy this get that and that and that). The promotion can be defined either at store or at HQ. In HQ environment the 401 Worksheet will automatically take the new promotions to all other stores. In “one to one” promotion you define that if a customer buys “X” quantity or ”X” value, they get “Y” quantity or “Y” value in some other Product The application allows you to define a reason code and a valid period for the promotion. Many to One” promotion means that you can define different sets of qualifying conditions to get either “QTY” or “%” off another item. In “Many to Many” promotion you can define multiple qualification sets and get multiple offers. The same item can belong to as many as 10 different promotion. The system will sort them according to their priority level. At the POS the cashier does not need to know what promotion is created. The cashier scans and when the tender key is pressed the valid promotion is given.
